EDUCATION
Enabling the Future of Learning
The Challenge
A leading higher education facility required significant AV upgrades across teaching spaces in its G12 and H70 buildings. The goal was to create modern learning environments that could support in-person, hybrid and collaborative teaching while delivering a consistent experience for educators and students.
With spaces ranging from an immersive classroom to traditional lecture theatres, the technology needed to be flexible, accessible and intuitive. Most importantly, it needed to enhance the learning experience without getting in the way of teaching.
The Solution
The AVIT Group delivered comprehensive AV upgrades across both buildings, designed around clarity, accessibility and ease of use.
At G12, a large-format Sharp LED wall transforms the front of the room into an expansive visual canvas, providing bright, detailed content that can be clearly viewed throughout the space. NovaStar vision control manages the display, while front and rear Logitech PTZ cameras support lecture capture and hybrid learning by capturing both presenters and audience interaction.
Q-SYS processing and amplification, combined with Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling 2 microphones, provide clear and even audio throughout the room. Hearing augmentation further supports accessibility, while BYOD connectivity and intuitive Zoom touch control allow educators to quickly connect and begin teaching.
Neat displays with integrated cameras and soundbars extend the same simple collaboration experience into smaller teaching and breakout spaces.
At H70, The AVIT Group completed full lecture theatre upgrades featuring high-brightness projection and large screens to provide clear visibility from every seat. Sit-stand lecterns create flexible teaching positions while integrating the technology educators need within a functional workspace.
Panasonic PTZ cameras support lecture capture and hybrid delivery, with Sennheiser wireless and lectern microphones providing consistent audio. Document cameras allow physical materials to be shared with students in the room and online, while integrated touch panel control brings the technology together through a simple and familiar interface.
The Outcome
Across G12 and H70, the result is a consistent and dependable teaching experience.
Educators can walk into a space and focus on delivering their lesson rather than operating the technology. Students benefit from clearer visuals, intelligible audio, improved accessibility and learning environments designed to support both in-person and remote participation.
By combining high-quality AV with intuitive control and a consistent user experience, these spaces are equipped to adapt as teaching methods continue to evolve.
The AVIT Group is proud to help enable the next generation of learning environments, creating technology-enabled spaces that will support educators and students for years to come.
High quality AV supports high quality education.
